The Thirty Years’ War, 1618–1648 - Did it last 30 years or not?  Let's study  from pages 79-83 and try to make sense of the 30+ years war.  If you thought that the history of Japan was complicated, you will have fun with the history of the "Thirty Years War!"

What did they do to the two noblemen?
What did the officials say about the escape?
What does the word "defenestration" mean?
Why didn't most people think that  Ferdinand wouldn't fight?

What did the Treaty of Westphalia do?
What year did the fighting actually end?

Homework: Make a flow chart about the Thirty Years War
Here is a sample, you can design it how you like

Since the Thirty Years War hinges on the idea that people can choose whether to be Catholic or Protestant, this link is very useful to study.

The only problem is that I am not sure if the watch is waterproof or not. So, when I needed to do the dishes, I took the watch off. This was a couple of days ago. I was looking all around for the watch, and the way I look for things is to clean up. So, I cleaned up my desk, I cleaned up the kitchen, I cleaned up my room. No watch. So finally I started to look for my brush, and I found the watch in the bathroom!

Example

My favorite book is Charlotte's Web
It is a story of friendship between different animals and people.
I like the scene where Wilbur tries to spin a web. He is jumping and moving around as if he is a spider and what is most heartwarming is Charlotte's reaction.  She lets him figure out for himself that it is impossible for pigs to weave webs, but because Charlotte is so nice about it, he takes it in stride and the two become even closer.
