Example
I
was in a concert band, playing the clarinet. There was a contest of
all the players in the band to go to an all city band. I wanted to
be one of the two clarinet positions that were available in my
school. We had a list of pieces that we had to play. I practiced
them every day for two weeks and then we had the audition! I didn’t
win 1st
place, but I did win 2nd
place! We then played in the all city band!
