Miss Daisy is Crazy- Lesson Plan Chapter 5



 

Miss Daisy has a strange way of teaching. Miss Daisy is Crazy  by Dan Guttman  She makes the children seem that they are the teacher and she is the student.
Well, the idiom is that you learn best from your students and if this is true, then Miss Daisy ought to graduate from University pretty soon, because her students teach her more everyday!

recess  - a break in the school day to eat or play

beeline - go in a straight line very fast

monkey bars - metal bars that are for climbing

arcade - a place where you play games in a fair.

financial - money matters

beamed. - be very happy

overweight - weigh too much

lifesaver candy

a foot in measurement is 12 inches about 30 centimeters

6 feet - about 2 meters

circumference - how big a circle is all the way around
