The Universal Laws of Newton and Locke, The Story of the World, Book 3, Chapter 16

Instead of going ahead in history, we are taking a side trip into what was going on in the history of ideas of science and philosophy.  Issac Newton and John Locke's ideas have shaped our modern world. Each came from a different viewpoint, Newton's ideas have changed about how we view the physical world but John Locke's ideas have shaped our poltics and the way we view education and government.  Read pages 136-138 for a compact view of these two great men.
