Diary of a Wimpy Kid, page 10, Lesson Plan

 Greg is in middle school, and it not the heaven he thought it would be when he was in Elementary School. 


Vocabulary: 

 fingers crossed - put the 2nd finger over the first one.  

handwriting - the art of writing by hand with a pencil or pen

moved away - go to another city or state to live

stress - pressure about a certain subject 

Spelling

Maud and Mildred are trying to teach their kittens how to ride a broomstick, it is not so easy. . . 





Vocabulary: 
useless - not good for the function
for a rest - to stop working for a short period of time
never mind - don't worry about it
an idea flashed - a good idea came suddenly 
dived - ran very fast
hooked over - put over 
bundled - put into 
satchel - a school bag
astounded - surprised 
peeped out - looked out 



Choose  the correct form of the verb in the sentence: 

Mildred was (sat) (sitting)  on the broomstick for a rest.

Her  kitten  was (chase )(chasing) a leaf along the ground.
