 Timelinks G5 Lesson Plan, President Lincoln is Shot 

We studied the battles of the Civil War, General Sherman's steam rolling through the South, and the war ended at Appotmattox Court House in Virginia. The terms were generous, the soldiers could keep their homes and horses.  

But then there was an event that struck the newly United States: Read on page 278.
