Henry Hudson and his trips to Canada - Lesson Plan

Today we are studying Henry Hudson, yes, the one that that huge bay in Canada is named after! 

Read pages 42-44 and then answer these discussion questions.

What happened on this trip that made the sailors think they might have found the Northwest Passage? 
What happened in the spring? 
Did Hudson make it back to England?  Why not?  
Did Hudson get his wish: "I would that my name be carved on the tablets of the sea.” come true?
