Read the Story of the World book 4 pages 171-174, 

then the Big Fat Notebook of World History pages 361-366
do the questions on page 367

Now do some more research on the Battle of Mukden!

You are a History Professor at the University:  

Write a presentation of the Russo-Japanese War for your upcoming Seminar. 
Touch upon the three most important points
